Meet The Board Members

We strive to enhance people’s lives by genuinely caring, not just giving care. Our person-centred philosophy of care is founded on the belief that every person is a valued individual in their own right, worthy of respect and deserving of the choice to live their life as they please.

Even when faced with health challenges, people can still continue to live a quality life. With this in mind, we help people get the most out of their lives by acknowledging and embracing the individual’s abilities and promoting self-esteem and autonomy, all while providing holistic care. We cater for a person’s physical care needs as much as their psychological, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing.

There’s always something going on at Eloura to inspire our residents! Our dedicated team tailor individual and group lifestyle programs that meet residents’ interests, cater for a range of capabilities and encourage participation.

Likewise, a fantastic range of concerts and visiting performers is always on offer, and our arts and crafts classes cater for all ability levels. Other events held throughout the month include singalongs, cooking, movies, exercise and walking groups, pet therapy, pamper sessions, hand and foot rubs and happy hour.

Regular outings take our residents to social outings, as well as scenic drives throughout the Liverpool Plains. Our staff are always on the lookout for interesting venues to visit for morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea, and if the weather is fine, we enjoy picnics in gardens and parks.

Residents are encouraged to treat Eloura as they would their own home.

We also encourage residents to go on outings or stay overnight with family and friends. Staff will help residents get ready for these occasions and can arrange transport if required.
