At Quirindi Care Services (QCS), a standalone, not-for-profit aged care provider, General Manager Kim Riley is leading a transformation that is setting a new benchmark for aged care in regional Australia.

Quirindi Care Services (QCS) is delighted to welcome Christina Mahony to its board, a Registered Nurse whose career reflects a steadfast commitment to quality care and excellent customer service.

With a rich tapestry of experience across nursing specialties, policy development, and operational management, Christina brings a wealth of skills to QCS, poised to enhance the organization’s mission of supporting residents and the broader community. 

Quirindi Care Services is enhancing resident well-being through a new partnership with Focus on Function, a Gunnedah-based therapy provider. This collaboration brings personalised dietitian services to QCS, ensuring each resident's unique nutritional needs, health concerns, and cultural preferences are met. By tailoring meal plans and offering comprehensive support, the partnership aims to improve health outcomes, reduce care burdens, and create an environment where residents feel at home, safe, and valued.

With nearly 20 years of experience in aged and home care leadership, Angie brings an incredible mix of expertise, passion, and deep connection to rural communities.

“I grew up on a dairy farm, and Quirindi reminds me so much of my home community. I’m excited to use my skills to support a regional organisation where they can make a real difference,” Angie shares.

Her dedication to improving the lives of older Australians and navigating the evolving aged care landscape makes her an invaluable addition to QCS.

From overhauling processes to ensuring residents feel right at home, Heather’s dedication is unmatched. As the friendly face at reception and the go-to support for our Villas and Gables residents, Heather brings warmth, expertise, and compassion to everything she does.

At Quirindi Care Services (QCS), we are fortunate to have Kahlia Saunders as part of our hotel services team. With a little over two years at QCS, Kahlia has become a cherished member of the team, bringing joy, enthusiasm, and a compassionate spirit to everything she does.

A Bond That's Bridging Generations – An Unlikely Friendship in Quirindi 🌱

Meet Jim, a resident at QCS, and Jesse, a Quirindi High School student, whose bond over gardening and craft bridges the gap between generations. Their unlikely friendship is a beautiful example of the power of intergenerational programs, bringing joy and fresh perspectives to both young and old at QCS. 🌼

June Gunning brings a wealth of experience and deep-rooted community connections to Quirindi Care Services. While currently residing in Canberra, ACT, June’s ties to Quirindi remain strong. Her background as a physiotherapist and health manager, particularly within ACT Health, has equipped her with the expertise and passion needed to contribute meaningfully to the QCS board.
